Patricia A. Davis-Watters, Esq.

Mrs. Davis-Watters was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of New Orleans, where she was President of the College of Liberal Arts and inaugural editor of the NAACP Advocate newsletter. She then received her Juris Doctor from Tulane Law School.

Following law school, Mrs. Watters clerked for the Honorable Ivan L.R. Lemelle in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. She then served as Counsel and Legislative Assistant to U.S. Senator John Breaux and represented the Senator during an economic development mission in Taiwan. Mrs. Watters also worked as an associate attorney at a New Orleans law firm before joining Keith Watters & Associates.

Mrs. Watters’ appellate advocacy is top notch. She has helped win numerous victories before the D.C. Court of Appeals for our clients, including Elaine Zuppe v. District of Columbia in 2020; Eric Toomer v. William C. Smith & Co., Inc. in 2015; and Willie M. Folks v. District of Columbia in 2014.

Mrs. Watters is also a dedicated servant to the legal and local community. She served two terms on the Board of Directors for the Bar Association for the District of Columbia. Additionally, Mrs. Watters has worked with and mentored college students from across the country who strive to become lawyers.
